Certainly Sterile

First found seismic over on Etsy and began with the starter kit package. Ended up wanting to save the remaining charcoal dishes sent with that kit for some older spores in my collection. Clear dishes landed literally day of my need to do a transfer which was/is successful; these are definitely sterile plates to work with, big thumbs up! Can't wait to try out the LC... judging at how well my transfers took off in the clear dishes, I probably need to do that today LOL So not even a week including recovery from the original M.S. dish transfer, I'm quite satisfied so far! (2 weeks from spore to F0, then 5 days from F0 to F1 LC = happy myco :D)

Plates arrived in perfect condition; without any damage or contamination. Each plate was individually sealed in easy-to-work-with baggies and then all 10 were sealed in one large baggie, surrounded by bubble wrap and paper within a sturdy cardboard box. I clumsily dropped one of the plates while working with it and it did not even crack the plastic. Compared to tediously making and pouring my own agar into smaller, fragile, borosilicate plates; seismic spores agar dishes are superior in every way. The mycelium seems to prefer their malt recipe more than my own as well. I did not, however, receive the bonus items with my order ("With every purchase, receive 2 sterile blades and 4 isopropyl wipes.") as stated in the description but they still deserve 5 stars.

Such a great value and product. I don’t have a flow hood so its a little more painful for pouring agar. I haven’t had very good success either. Put LC on a few of these and no contamination and growing great!

The item perfectly matched the description when I bought it, it even came with a few stickers! It was the perfect quality for the science experiment I was conducting.
